"South, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the wine bar and French spot, which offers desserts and more, four stars out of 272 reviews."
"Nearby, the Nicollet Island Inn—on a small island on the river—has fashioned a romantic getaway housed in an 1893-era stone building. Getting There: Metro Transit’s Blue Line light-rail train departs from both terminals of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport with service to downtown. The Warehouse District Hennepin Avenue Station will put you in the heart of the North Loop."
"Located in the Hennepin Theatre District of Minneapolis, the Capital Grille is a restaurant that specializes in steak and all at comes with it. With a long list of steak and seafood starters plus a wide selection of soups and starters, you may be satisfied even before you see the main courses. However when you see the chef’s suggestions like seared tenderloin with butter poached lobster tails and sliced filet mignon with Cipollini onions and wild mushrooms, you may want to save some room."
"One of the best Valentine’s Day restaurants Minneapolis features is quite extravagant. When you are really wanting to make an impression, Capital Grille will knock your socks off. You will enjoy excellent food, an extensive wine list, and can even opt for valet parking to make the evening hassle-free."

"A post shared by Rumer Willis (@rumerwillis) on Oct 15, 2016 at 10:54am PDT. Primarily a jazz club, Dakota has been consistently providing incredible service and superb music shows in Minneapolis since the early 2000s. The place converts into a dance club after 7pm as they remove quite a bit of their table-seating from the main area, leaving ample space for guests to let their hair loose."
"If you’re looking for dinner and some live music, The Dakota has been a date-night spot for thousands of Twin Cities couples. Doesn’t matter the show, the seasonal “Upscale Midwestern” menu is always right, and the world-class music is always the good stuff."
"The best place to see live jazz in the Twin Cities also features a menu of imaginative American comfort food, prepared with top-of-the-line ingredients. Open for lunch and dinnerDress code: CasualPhone: +1 612-332-1010"
"A community driven space located in the Harrison neighborhood, La Dona Cerveceria keeps its 10,000 square foot space chalk full of Latino and Minnesota influences. The outdoor patio space features a turf field, while the enticing and bright bar area brings a warm brewery experience well into the winter months."
"Minneapolis has a lot of breweries, but one brewery type the city didn’t have, until now?. Una cerveceria Mexicana. That’s all been fixed with the recent opening of La Dona."
"In the Northeast, you can start your beer crawl at Indeed Brewing Company and then—depending on your level of motivation—move on to Bahaus Brew Labs, 612 Brew, Dangerous Man Brewing Company, and Sociable Cider Werks, all within blocks of each other. Where to Stay: Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot is just steps from the North Loop, Guthrie Theater, Stone Arch Bridge, and the Mill City Museum in what was formerly the Milwaukee Road Depot—a Renaissance Revival-style train depot built in 1899. Rooms feature twelve-foot ceilings and oversized windows that look out onto the downtown skyline, and in winter the long-span, truss-roofed shed is an enclosed ice-skating rink with floor-to-ceiling windows. Nearby, the Nicollet Island Inn—on a small island on the river—has fashioned a romantic getaway housed in an 1893-era stone building."
"Located right in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis’s brewery district, 612 features an awesome taproom with really cool wall murals by legendary local brewery artist Adam Turman. Local's Tip: Pair 612 with a visit to the nearby breweries Able Seedhouse, Bauhaus Brew Labs, Indeed Brewing, or even Sociable Cider works. (All are within walking distance.)"
"Close to Lake Monster is another brewery called Urban Growler Brewing Pub—you could easily do a little brew hop between the two, and it’s the first women-owned microbrewery in Minnesota. This casual, family-friendly spot offers a fun beer garden that is perfect for summer!. There are plenty of picnic tables and a few barrel table tops with the brick building and green shrubs completing the vibe."
"Urban Growler is more on the side of the brewpub than your traditional brewery with a food truck outside. The food is actually awesome at Urban Growler which is a huge plus. Our personal favorite menu item is the nachos."
"Get beer in one hand and food in the other at Urban Growler’s Beer Garden located in the Creative Enterprise Zone. Sample from a wide variety of specialty brews and order grub from the full Brew Food menu."
"A post shared by Longfellow Grill (@longfellowgrill) on Feb 10, 2020 at 12:35pm PST. A famous family destination, Longfellow Grill offers a wide variety of delicacies perfect for both kids and adults alike. If you have a long queue ahead of you and you are with the kids, then they can run freely around the statue situated right outside the eatery."
"Longfellow Grill is nestled on the banks of the Mississippi River on the furthest east side of Lake Street that you can possibly get. Longfellow Grill is known for its beer and breakfast foods. As a sister restaurant, Longfellow Grill serves Freehouse beers (another Minnesota native) that are only $3 during happy hour."
"If simple and casual with American grub is your idea of a good time, head to E. Lake St. and hit Longfellow Grill. They have an outdoor patio on the Mississippi River."
"We’re not exactly sure if this is a real deal donut shop, a crazy experiment, or some kind of drug front, but honestly, their donuts are actually good, so either way they seem to have a pretty viable business plan given their campus location. With offerings like the Oh Fu$ck Yeh!. , the Gay '90s, the Big ‘D’, and Oprah Money, you have to wonder what exactly was going through their minds, but we’ll be damned if it wasn't making delectable donuts."
"While they offer a variety of fan favorites, including their peanut butter Sriracha donut (or the femme fatale, which comes stuffed with raspberry curd and topped with vanilla cream), for our money, if you’ve got the option to bacon-up your morning pastry, you do it."
"Serving up all the donuts you can fit into your mouth, Glam Doll has been all the rage since they opened in 2013. If you are a donut lover (who isn’t?) they cater to vegans with 8-10 delectable daily varieties. Note: Only the Eat Street location serves vegan donuts."
