West Meets East at These Chinese Restaurants Where Authentic Flavors Shine
"Whether or not you find deals available in Seattle, check out Dim Sum King in International District, Indo Chinese Wok in Central District, Qian Noodle in Bitter Lake, Wild Ginger in Belltown, and 19 Gold in Fremont, which are reviewed by users for offering an excellent value."
"Highly regarded by local food critics, Judy Fu has firmly cemented herself in the company of the Puget Sound's finest Chinese chefs. Scintillating Mandarin and Szechuan dishes include shrimp or chicken mu shu, crispy tea-smoked duck with hoisin sauce and Land and Sea clay pot stew. With its contemporary yet unpretentious ambiance and a great menu, Snappy Dragon tends to get quite crowded at times, so reservations are recommended (but will only be taken for groups of six or more)."
"Hours of Operation: Open Daily from 11 am-9:30 pm, not open for lunch on Sundays. Snappy Dragon offers authentic Chinese dishes and regional specialties for dine-in service or takeout. Snappy Dragon was voted Best Chinese Restaurant in Seattleby Reader's Choice Magazine nine different times."
"This Maple Leaf fixture has been serving customers for over 25 years. Among some of the menu favorites are dumplings, sautéed string beans, smoked duck, and chow mein with homemade noodles. Plus, the portions are generous and shareable for those trying to feed a whole family."
"This fine dining Bellevue destination deems itself a "truly modern Chinese restaurant" that benefits from the bountiful Pacific Northwest harvest in its midst. Baron's proudly offers its signature Peking Duck, fresh local seafood, grass-fed Wagyu beef and authentic stir-fried rice. Guests also love sampling delicious Chinese street food dishes during early and late "Happy Hour" offerings."
"Tucked away in Leschi on the shore of Lake Washington, Meet the Moon's moist, fluffy, house baked cinnamon roll topped with cream cheese icing is an extra sweet way to show mom you care. The restaurant is currently offering preorders of popular dishes and cocktails for takeout as well as cards, planters and other goodies in case you forgot to get mom a present. Rockcreek Seafood and Spirits"

"Many important architectural heirlooms are concentrated in Pioneer Sq, the district that sprang up in the wake of the 1889 Great Fire. Instantly recognizable by its handsome redbrick buildings, the neighborhood's predominant architectural style is Richardsonian Romanesque, strongly influenced by America's Chicago School."
"Once you get off the boat head straight up the Ferry Walkway to 1st then turn right and go 2 blocks to Pioneer Square. This lovely little green scape is surrounded by late 1800’s Romanesque Revival style buildings, with a plaza full of quaint bistro tables & bocce ball courts."
"There are currently three locations throughout the city, but we recommend with our two day itinerary of Seattle to head to the Pioneer Square location to stay on track. Explore Pioneer Square"
"At 295 metres to its tip, the Columbia Center is the tallest building in Washington State. When it was topped off in 1985 this skyscraper was the tallest building on the whole West Coast, though it has since dropped down to fourth on the list. In the 2010s the Sky View observatory on the 73rd floor has been modified to give you a 360° view, while two new express elevators and a new lounge have also been modified."
"Located in the Columbia Center of downtown Seattle, the Sky View Observatory is one of the lesser-known tourist spots of Seattle. It attracts smaller crowds than places like the Space Needle, and it isn’t as expensive. It’s perfect for visitors who like throwing away their travel guides to try new things and explore new places."
"We recommend first taking a lap through the different levels of the market, sampling your way through, peeking at the World Famous Giant Shoe Museum, look at the comic book store Golden Age Collectables, checking out the Nepalese apothecary, see one of the original Starbucks, and walk through the famous Gum Wall. After you’ve had your fair share of samples we recommend enjoying award winning Pike Place Chowder for the best New England Chowder in the world or Beecher’s Homemade Cheese for their delectable, creamy mac & cheese that Oprah has named one of her 100 favorite things!"
"Also unconventional, the Gum Wall is a gum-coated section of Post Alley, down a flight of stairs from Rachel the piggybank at Pike Place Market. From the early 90s, audience members on their way in or out of the Unexpected Productions improv theatre would stick used chewing gum on the wall and decorate it with a coin. Over time people have become creative, spelling out their name and composing little artworks with the gum."
"Let all your followers know that you, too, have mingled with the saliva of millions. (It does make a colorful, abstract backdrop.). A post shared by Emma Monden (@emmamonden) on Jul 15, 2018 at 3:36pm PDT"
"Cascina Spinasse is a bustling, high-end Italian restaurant near the corner of 14th and Pine that serves rustic Northern Italian fare in a cozy, comfortable setting. Garnering much acclaim for its traditional cuisine of the Piedmont region of Northern Italy since opening in 2008, Cascina Spinasse features a warm, open kitchen where diners can watch the head chef and his team create simple, refined dishes using authentic techniques from Piedmont. Dishes such as the heart-warming tajarin al ragu o burro e salvia and rabbit meatballs are firm favorites with Seattleites, while the hearty cavatelli lavished with chanterelles and the rapini ravioli with pine nuts are close seconds."
"Nothing is overlooked at this modern yet unpretentious Capitol Hill establishment. The airy noodles are light and non-bulky, the sauces are careful not to overpower, and the well-loved tajarin with butter and sage doesn’t disappoint. One can also make a night of it with post-dinner drinks and dessert at next-door sibling bar Artusi."
"Spinasse, located in Capitol Hill, serves up Italian cuisine specific to the Piedmont Region. They have a stellar all-Piedmont wine list, fresh handmade pasta, and locally sourced ..."
"Rocket Taco is in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle, although they also have a location on Whidbey Island for a while. We initially went to the Whidbey Island location and fell in love with their tacos, so much so we went back 3 days straight while we were there!. They have 3 tacos that are vegetarian and can easily be made vegan: Sweet Potato Black Bean which comes with chipotle spiced sweet potatoes with black beans, guacamole, lime crema and pepitas."
